If you have been using Google Ads for a while, you may have noticed that there is a setup process in progress. This process is called “Google Ads Account Setup in Progress.” The goal of this process is to create a new Google Ads account and set up all the necessary settings. However, if you are having trouble completing this process, here are some tips to help you out:

  1. Make sure that your computer is up and running. This will help you complete the account setup process more quickly.
  2. If you are having trouble logging in, try using a different computer or phone. Your account may be locked if your computer isn’t working properly.
  3. If you are having trouble completing the account setup process, please contact Google at 1-800-GOOGL (1-800-843-9237). We will do our best to help you out and get your account set up as quickly as possible!

Unfortunately, there’s no option to cancel a dormant account. We recommend that you contact Ads assistance and have the email addresses linked with those accounts deleted. After that, you will not be able to access those accounts.

Go to Tools & Settings > Setup > Account access and remove your personal access to the account after canceling an AdWords account. This will delete the account from your list of authorized accounts.

Open your Google Ads account. Click Ads & extensions on the left menu. Select the checkbox next to the ad you wish to delete. Click Edit at the top of the ad statistics table to do so. Remove is one of the options in this drop-down menu.

You may also cancel your Freeads account from the dashboard by clicking the menu button and selecting “my account.” A close account option will be found further down the page; you must click this to terminate your membership.

If you spend less than your payment threshold on a monthly basis, such as in the scenarios listed below, you will not be charged: Your last payment date was July 15th. Your payment threshold is $50.
