If you’re like most Gmail users, you probably have syncing enabled between your computer and Gmail account. But what if you want to remove sync from your Gmail account? Here’s how:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select Settings.
- Under “General,” click on “Sync.”
- Uncheck the box next to “Sync with Google.”

To turn off sync on your Gmail account, log into your account and click on “Settings.” On the left side of the screen, scroll down to “Accounts & Import” and click on “Sync.” You will see a list of all of the services that are syncing with your account. To disable an option, uncheck it.
Gmail has a number of different sync settings that allow you to control what happens when you’re offline. You can choose to have your messages downloaded and stored on the device, have them pushed to the device, or have them not synced at all from your Gmail account. To change these settings, go to Settings > Labs > Offline Gmail and make your selection here.

Click on “Accounts and Import.” Click on “Add Account.” Click on “Exchange.” Click on “Next Step.” Click on “Yes, I want to use my Outlook, Hotmail or Live email address.” Type your email address and password for this account. Click on “Next Step.” Click on “Finish Setup.
Auto Sync is a feature in Gmail that allows the user to automatically synchronize their email account with their mobile device. This means that when you open Gmail on your phone, it will show all of the emails that are in your inbox, not just the ones you have already read.
It’s really up to you. Turning it off will save a lot of battery power, but if you use your phone for a lot of things, then turning it on is a good idea.
