Skype is a popular VoIP software that allows users to make and receive phone calls over the internet. However, if you no longer need Skype on your computer, there are several ways to remove it. To uninstall Skype from your computer, first open the Windows Start menu and search for “Skype.” When the program appears in the results, right-click on it and select “Uninstall.” If you’re using Windows 8 or 10, you can uninstall Skype by going to the Start screen and clicking on “Apps” followed by “Skype.” On the app’s main screen, click on the three lines in the bottom left corner and select “Uninstall.” If you’re using macOS or Linux, open a terminal window (found in Applications > Utilities) and type “sudo apt-get remove skype” followed by your user name. On a Windows 10 system, you may remove Skype in two ways: one easy and the other not. However, uninstalling Skye does not delete your personal account with Skype. If you uninstall Skype but wish to use it again, you must reinstall the most recent version before making calls.
