If you’re like most people, Facebook is a great place to keep track of your life. But if you’re someone who likes to show off their best features, there’s a good chance that some of your photos have ended up on the social media site. To remove photos of yourself from Facebook, follow these steps:
- Log into Facebook and open the main menu.
- Choose “Settings.”
- Scroll down and select “Photos.”
- Click on the “Remove Photos” button.
Select the three-dot (…) menu symbol in the top right corner of a photo that has been posted to your profile or company page to erase it. To remove it, choose Hide from Timeline or Delete.
You can’t remove a Facebook post or photograph that was posted by someone else on your own. You’ll have to ask them directly if they take it down. You won’t be able to erase a photo that others have uploaded, but you will be able to hide it from your timeline or tag it out.
Select your profile photo and then Photos from the drop-down menu. From the Albums page, pick the album you wish to hide from view. Then click Edit Album and make your selection. choose a new audience (Friends or Only me).
Tap the downward-pointing arrow icon in the top-right corner of the article to edit it. From the menu, pick Edit Post. Before clicking Save, tap the tiny “x” in the top-right corner of each photo (or photos) you want to remove one by one.
You may not remove multiple images in one go on Facebook. To delete a group of photos, you may use an album. You can only remove pictures you uploaded to Facebook or albums you created. A photo that you didn’t upload will not be able to be deleted.
