If you’re like most people, Instagram is one of your favorite social media platforms. But if you’re a Facebook user, it’s time to take action. Instagram is a great platform for sharing photos and ideas with friends and family, but it’s also a great place to share photos of your work or personal life. If you’re on Facebook, it’s important to remove Instagram from your account so that you can keep track of what’s going on with your friends on Instagram. To remove Instagram from Facebook:

  1. Log into Facebook and open the “Settings” menu. This will open the “Accounts” menu.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Pages” tab. This will show you all of the pages that are associated with your account.
  3. Scroll down and click on the “Instagram” tab. This will show you all of the posts that have been made on Instagram since you last logged in.
  4. Click on the “Delete Post” button next to each post that you want to delete.

Only the Instagram app can remove your Instagram and Facebook accounts. Go to Profile > Menu > Settings > Account, then Linked Accounts, and then Facebook. Unlink Your Account may be accessed via this menu option.

‘Unlink Account’ on Instagram Does Not Unlink You From Facebook. The option to link your Facebook profile is evidently disabled by default, just like the others shown under the Linked Accounts section of Instagram. Before Instagram displays the two as linked, users must click the app’s grayed-out logo and log in.

Open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device, log in to your account, and then choose Settings from the drop-down menu. Select Login Info from the list. Next to the account, you wish to delete, tap Remove.

Because they’re linked, deleting one of your Facebook accounts will also delete the other. This won’t happen with any other applications you’ve used your Facebook account to log into using WhatsApp or Instagram, for example.

According to Wired, a Facebook spokesperson said: We connect information about your activities across our services based on a variety of signals because we share infrastructure, systems, and technology. This does not change if you delete or reconnect your accounts in the app.
