If you’re using Safari on your computer, you can remove grammarly from the browser by following these steps:

  1. Open Safari and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Type “chrome://flags/” into the address bar and hit return.
  3. A list of flags will appear, including “no-cache”. If you want to keep grammarly in Safari, select one of the options below: (default) - Keep grammarly in Safari but disable its caching feature so that it always remains up-to-date. This option is recommended if you don’t want to wait for grammarly to update itself every time a new version is released.
  • Disable caching and then re-enable it when you want to use grammarly again. This option is not recommended if you want to use grammarly regularly because it may take some time for it to start working again after being cached.

Open Safari. Choose Safari Preferences. Extensions are the next item to click. To disable the plugin, uncheck the Enabled box. Restart your browser for good measure.

To remove the extension, go to the Safari preference menu and deselect it. Click on the Safari tab in the menu bar and select Preferences. Select Extensions from the drop-down menu. To disable the plugin, uncheck “Grammarly for Safari from the list of extensions.

This program is a plug-in. Is it already present on your computer? Check under Extensions for the add-on. You may opt to disable or remove it from there.

Open the Start button and select it. Go to Control Panel and look for Programs and Features. Uninstall Grammarly by right-clicking on it and selecting Uninstall.

It also has a very small system performance footprint, ensuring that your Mac won’t slow down during the inspections.
