If you use Google Sync to keep track of your calendar, contacts, and other important data, you may want to remove it from your computer. Here are some steps to do so:
- Log into your Google account and click on the “Settings” button in the top left corner of the main screen.
- Scroll down and click on the “Google Sync” icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Click on the “Remove from computer” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow these instructions to remove Google Sync from your computer: a) Open a command prompt window and type “netstat -an”. This will show you all active network connections on your computer. If there is a Google Sync connection listed among them, it will be removed automatically. b) Type “icloud sync –remove-from-computer” and hit enter after clicking on it. c) Type “netstat -an again” and check for any active Google Sync connections still present but now marked as inactive. If there are none, type “icloud sync –enable-google-sync” and hit enter after clicking on it to continue with step b). d) Type “icloud sync –force-delete” and hit enter after clicking on it to delete all existing Google Sync files from your computer without warning (this may take a few minutes). e) Reboot your computer if everything has gone according to plan and try again later when there are no active GoogleSync connections present in netstat or icloud status
Click on the drop-down menu labeled “Laps” and select “Hours.” Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu at the top right. Select Sync and Google services in the “Accounts” section. review your synced data by selecting Turn on sync.
Select “Google.” To configure the Google account, go to Menu > Account. If it appears under Accounts, select it. Select “Sync Account” once you’ve selected Google from the accounts list. After disabling contact and calendar sync with Google, choose whether or not to keep your contacts in case you need them later on by tapping Sync Contacts and?
To remove your sync data from the Google Dashboard, click the link for “Stop sync and delete data from Google” in the Chrome section. You’ll then be asked to confirm the deletion.
You can still access your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings after you switch off sync. Any changes you make will not be kept in your Google Account and distributed to your other devices. You’ll also be logged out of any other Google services when you turn sync off.
Open the Google Account Settings on your computer. (If you don’t have one, click Create an account.) Click Backup and Sync. Select More Preferences. Click Settings. Select Disconnect from the drop-down menu. Click Disconnect to disconnect your account from the phone. Click Disconnect to remove it completely from your device?
