There are a few things you can do to help remove family from screen time. First, set a timer for 30 minutes and forbid screens in that time. Second, make sure your child is getting enough sleep. Third, try to find activities they enjoy outside of screens. Finally, be firm with your expectations and make sure they understand that screens will be used for educational purposes only and not as a way to watch TV or movies with their family.

On the My son or daughter page, tap App activity to set up a schedule for your child. Then, on the “App activity” card, select More. Set the time limit to whatever you want. To remove a restriction, touch Delete limit.

Go to Settings. Select your name from the drop-down menu, then Family Sharing. Select your name from the list.

When you add a kid under the age of 13 to Family Sharing, you can’t remove them, but you may transfer them to another Family Share group. The child must be invited to join the other family’s group in order for him or her to be transferred.

Tap Settings and then Screen Time. Select your child’s name from the drop-down menu. Change or cancel the screen time passcode by selecting Change/Cancel or Turn Off Screen Time Passcode, as appropriate.

Go to Settings and choose Screen Time. Select Content & Privacy Restrictions. If prompted, enter your passcode. Choose Allow or Don’t Allow for the features or settings you want to allow changes to under Allow Changes.
