If you’re one of the many iPhone users who are annoyed by emergency alerts popping up on your screen without your permission, there’s a way to get rid of them. Here’s how:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone and scroll down to “Notifications.”
- Tap on “Emergency Alerts” and then tap on the “Disable” button next to each alert you want to remove.
- If you want to re-enable an emergency alert later, just repeat these steps and tap on the “Enable” button next to the alert you want to reactivate. ..
Open the Settings app. Scroll down and select Notifications from the drop-down menu. Select Government Alerts from the list at the bottom of your screen. Turn off AMBER Alerts and Public Safety Alarms. Emergency Alerts are to be switched off.
To turn these warnings on or off, do the following: Go to Settings > Notifications. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of your screen. Turn On or Off Government Alerts as desired.
Visit the Settings app. Turn off all of your apps and notifications. Go to App & Notifications. Select Advanced from the drop-down menu. Choose Emergency Alerts if you’d like to turn off Amber Alerts, Extreme Threats, and Severe Threats alerts.
