If you’re a GoFundMe user, it’s important to be aware of the process of removing beneficiaries from a page. When a beneficiary leaves the page, their money is no longer available to the campaign. This can be a difficult decision to make, as it can mean that the campaign doesn’t receive any donations from that person or money they may have contributed in the past. To remove beneficiaries from a GoFundMe page, follow these steps:
- Log into your account and select “My Page.” In this screen, you’ll see all of your pages. On this page, select “Your Page” and then click on “Remove Beneficiary.” This will take you to a screen where you’ll need to provide information about who your beneficiary is and why they left the page. If you don’t know who your beneficiary is or why they left the page, please contact us at support@gofundme.com for help.
- Once you’ve provided all of the information needed, click on “Remove Beneficiary.” The process will take a few minutes and will result in an email being sent to your beneficiary letting them know that their money has been removed from the campaign and that it won’t be available anymore for future donations.
Click the “Withdraw” button. Select “View beneficiary overview” from the drop-down menu Then, scroll all the way down and pick “Cancel invite, The organizer may then choose to send an invitation to the correct email address using this method.
Add a Team or edit an existing one. Select the team you’re uploading to and enter the required information. If this is your first time creating a team, select New Team at the bottom of the page and follow the on-screen instructions. Select whether you want to create a new campaign or join an existing one.
