If you have an Apple account, you can easily remove an email account from your iTunes account by going to the “Accounts” tab and clicking on the “Remove Account” button. If you don’t have an Apple account, or if you want to keep your email account even if you do have one, follow these steps:
- Log in to your iTunes account.
- Click on the “Accounts” tab and click on the “Remove Account” button.
- Type in your email address and password in the fields below and click on the “Remove Account” button.
- Your email address will be removed from your iTunes account and all of your data will be backed up so that you can easily access it again if needed.
To change your primary email for iTunes, go to the iTunes account settings on the computer and select “Account Info” from the left-hand menu. You’ll see a list of all of your email addresses associated with your account. Select the one you want as your primary and click “Save.
The iTunes account you are logged in with is most likely not the same one that was originally used to purchase the music. This is because Apple has a policy of only allowing purchases from one account per user, and if you have multiple accounts, your purchases will be associated with whichever account you were last logged in with.
You cannot delete an Apple ID account. You can only deactivate it, which means you will not be able to log in to any Apple services with that account. To deactivate your account, go to the Apple ID management website and select “Manage Your Apple ID.” You will need to enter your password and security questions. Once you are logged in, click on “Deactivate Account” at the bottom of the page.
To remove an email alias from your Apple ID, go to the Apple website and login. Click on “My Apple ID” and then click “Edit.” Scroll down to the “Contact Info” section and click on the drop-down menu next to “Email Address.” Select the email address that you want to use as your primary email address. After selecting this new email address, click on “Done.
If you have forgotten your password, there is a way to reset it without going through the hassle of having to contact Apple Support.
Apple has many different passwords that are used on their devices or on their website. Most of the time, Apple will email you your password when you sign up for an account. However, if you forget it, there is no way to retrieve it. The only thing you can do is reset it by creating a new account and removing all of the information from your old account.
