If you have an email account on your Macbook Pro, it’s important to remove it so that you can’t be spammed or have your personal information accessed by someone else. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the System Preferences app and click on the Accounts button.
  2. In the Accounts dialog, select the email account you want to remove from your Macbook Pro.
  3. Click on the Remove Account button and confirm your deletion by clicking on the OK button.
  4. Close System Preferences and restart your Macbook Pro so that the changes take effect.

Select the email account you wish to remove from the Mac by clicking it in the list. Select or hit Delete on the keyboard?

If a mailbox is bugged, you could try highlighting it; click the Toolbar button, then Mailbox.” Choose “Rebuild” from the drop-down menu after that. Try removing the mailbox by right-clicking or ctrl-clicking on it and selecting Delete from the menu afterward.

On Google.com, sign in to your Gmail account. Select “Account” from the grid icon in the upper right corner. Click “Delete your account or services” under the “Account preferences” heading. Choose “Delete products.”Enter your password.

Go to the Apple ID site and sign in. Change your Apple ID by clicking View, then Change Apple ID. Create a new email address and finish the process. Enter the code you received in an email. Log back into all of your devices and services that used the old Apple ID account address.

All of your accounts should be deleted. When you visit Gmail, it will ask you to sign in and select from your accounts at the bottom. The choice to add or delete an account may be found at the bottom. Remove the unwanted account by clicking on the red (-) then selecting remove the account.
