Instagram is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family, but it can also be a great way to share photos and videos. If you’re not sure how to remove an app from your phone, here are some tips:
- Open the App Store on your device and search for Instagram. Once you find it, uninstall it by tapping on the three lines in the top left corner of the App Store screen and selecting “Remove from Device.”
- Open up Settings on your device and scroll down until you find “Privacy.” Toggle “Unknown Sources” off so that Instagram can’t access your data.
- Reboot your device if you’ve done everything else in this guide and then try using Instagram again. If everything still doesn’t work, reach out to Instagram support for help.
Tap the user icon in the top right corner of your screen. Select “Authorized Apps” from your Instagram Settings menu. A list of applications and websites that are connected to your Instagram account will appear. Select “Revoke Access” and “Yes” for those you wish to delete from your account.
To disconnect your Instagram and Facebook accounts, go to the Instagram program or the company’s website. Go to Profile > Menu > Settings > Accounts Center > Accounts & profiles. Select an account and then Remove from Accounts Center.
Hold the app for a few seconds. nTap Remove App. nTap Delete App, then Delete to finalize your decision.
Go to your company’s Instagram profile and tap the Gear symbol. > then select Contact Options from the drop-down menu. Delete your business’s name (or Shop, if applicable) from its profile.
To go to your profile, click the name at the bottom right of the screen, then select Settings. To change your account settings, tap Account and then Sharing with other apps.
