If you have an alternate email address on Yahoo, it’s time to remove it. This is a simple process that can be done in a few steps.
- Log into your Yahoo account and click on the “Accounts” tab.
- Scroll down to the bottom and click on the “Email Addresses” link.
- Click on the “Remove alternate email address” button.
- Enter your new email address in the “To” field and click on the “Add to account” button.
Go to the Delete a service or account page. Click Remove Account. Click both windows at the bottom of the screen.
Go to yahoo.com and fill out the form with your email address. Click “Forgotten password?” on the next screen. Click “I need more choices,” then “I’d like more options,” etc., as needed. Contact the Yahoo Help website for assistance. Enter yours.
Select the Settings option. More Settings must be clicked. Select Mailboxes from the drop-down menu. Choose the account you’d like to delete. Select Remove mailbox from the drop-down menu if necessary. To finish, click Remove mailbox once more to commit your choices.
Open the Settings app on your phone. Tap Accounts. If “Accounts” isn’t visible, go to Users & accounts and select it. Select the account you’d like to delete. Delete the account by clicking Remove Account at the top of the page. For security, if this is the only Google Account on your phone, you’ll need to.
