If you’re a Kindle Fire owner, it’s likely that you’ve used the device to read books, watch movies, and listen to music. But there are also a number of ways to use your Kindle Fire without having an account. Here are three tips on how to remove an account from your Kindle Fire:
- Log in to your Amazon account and delete the Kindle Fire app from your device. This will disable all of the features that rely on an Amazon account, such as reading books or watching movies.
- Reset your Kindle Fire by going into Settings and clicking on Reset Device. This will erase all of the data on your device and start fresh.
- If you’re using a different device, such as a computer or phone, you can try deleting the Amazon app from that device as well and then logging in to your Amazon account again and reinstalling the Kindle Fire app if it’s been deleted accidentally.
Say “Select a profile,” or select the profiles icon on the Home screen. Select Edit from the drop-down menu. Remove is the option to choose.
Open the “Email” program on your device. Select “Menu” > “Settings” and then choose the email account you wish to delete. All the way at the bottom, select “Delete Account from Device,” and the account will be deleted.
Open the Settings app on your Android device. Tap General in the left column and then tap Screen Lock. Select whether or not to display your profile on the lock screen by toggling the switch next to “Show Profile On Lock Screen.
Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and log in to your account. Select your device and press the Delete button.
