Facebook users have long been able to remove tags from their posts on the desktop site, but the process has been more difficult to replicate on mobile. Thankfully, that’s starting to change. To remove a tag from a Facebook post on your mobile device, first open the post in question. Next, tap and hold on the tag you want to remove and select “Remove Tag.” You’ll then be prompted to confirm your choice. Finally, tap “Delete Tag.” This process works for both individual tags and groups of tags. If you want to remove all tags from a post, just tap “Remove All Tags” at the bottom of the screen before deleting it. ..

Select the “Activity Log” option from your personal Facebook account. Select the arrow next to the item you wish to remove the tag from. Tap “Report/Remove Tag.” Choose a reason for reporting or deleting it.

To report a photo, open it and go to the bottom of the screen. Look for “Options” at the bottom of the image. Select “Report/Remove Tag” from there. Confirm your changes by selecting “I want to remove the tag.”

You cannot untag someone from a Facebook photo on your timeline directly. First, click on the photo to view it. On desktop, choose “Edit.” On mobile, select the “tag” button in the upper-right corner. You may untag individuals by selecting their name and tapping the “x” beside it.

Open the stack with the cover image in it that you want to modify. Tap on the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner of your screen. Select “Edit” from the drop-down menu below the album title. Before your buddy’s name, type “@” to tag them.

Tap to select the photo you want to hide, then tap More Options in the lower left corner. Remove Tag may be selected by tapping it. After that, tap Remove Tag to confirm your selection.
