If you want to remove a phone from your iTunes account, there are a few steps you need to take.

  1. Open the iTunes app on your computer.
  2. Click on the “Store” tab at the top of the window.
  3. Click on the “Purchased” tab at the bottom of the window.
  4. Locate and click on the phone or device you want to remove from your account.
  5. Click on “Remove from Account” in the menu bar at the top of the window. ..

Open your computer’s web browser and go to appleid.apple.com, then sign in with your account. Select My Apple ID from the drop-down menu that appears after you click Account in the upper right corner of your screen on a Mac. Open System Preferences, select Security & Privacy, then Sign In Details on the Login window at the top

Open your account in iTunes or use these steps: Open iTunes, then go to Store Sign In and enter your Apple ID and password. Select Manage Devices from the drop-down menu next to the iCloud section. Click Remove next to the device you’d like removed.

You can remove a device from your account if you no longer use an iPhone, a Mac, or an Apple TV. You may remove your card from the device and disable Apple Pay if you shut down the phone after removing it.

On one of the phones go to Settings Messages Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different IDOn both phones go to Settings Messages Send & Receive and uncheck the email address shown under “You can be reached by iMessage at”.

To keep your Apple devices backed up and synchronized, they use iCloud. If you don’t use a device any longer, you should remove it from your iCloud account. Remove an Apple device that’s still linked to someone else’s iCloud account if you acquired one.
