If you have a Samsung Galaxy S5, there is a good chance that you have a Google account. If not, you can easily remove your Google account from your device by following these simple steps.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap on the Accounts tab.
  2. Scroll down and select Google from the list of accounts.
  3. Tap on the Remove account button to remove your Google account from your Samsung Galaxy S5.

Select Accounts and backup from the settings menu. Select your Samsung account from the list. Remove the account by pressing Delete, then Yes on the pop-up window. Sign out by tapping Sign out at the bottom of this page. Enter your Samsung account password, then tap OK to finish removing it.
