If you have a Samsung Galaxy S10, there is a good chance that you have a Google account. If not, it’s time to remove that account from your phone. To remove a Google account from your Samsung Galaxy S10:
- Open the Settings app and tap on Accounts & Security.
- Scroll down and tap on Google Accounts.
- Tap on Remove Account.
- Enter your name and password for the Google account you want to remove and tap on Remove Account.
Remove Google or Gmail Account
On the Galaxy S10, there are two ways to remove an account. The first is to go into Settings and then Accounts and delete the account from your device. The second is to open your phone’s app drawer, tap on Settings, and then tap on Accounts. From here you can select “Remove Account” next to the account you want to delete.

Factory resetting your phone will delete all the data on it, including your Google account. To remove the account after factory reset, you’ll need to sign in with a new Google account.

You will be prompted with a warning that deleting your account will delete all of the data associated with it. It is not possible to remove a Google account from your Samsung Galaxy S21.

To switch Google accounts on your Samsung device, go to Settings > Accounts > Accounts > Google. Tap the account you want to use for your device.
