- Disable bots using an app: If you don’t want bots working on your Facebook page, you can disable bots using an app such as Google Chrome or Apple’s Safari. To do this, open up the app and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen (the blue line is called “Settings”). On the next screen, under “Bot settings,” click on “Disable Bots.” You’ll need to re-enable bots for each conversation in order for them to work again.
You may also deactivate the chatbot if you wish to stop collecting data from a user after he or she has completed his or her chat with the bot.
