If you are a user of a computer system that is administered by an organization, you may have been asked to create an administrator account. This account is used to manage the system and make changes to it. If you do not have an administrator account, your computer will not be able to do its job properly. To remove an administrator account from your computer, follow these steps:

  1. Log on to your computer and open the Start menu.
  2. Type “cmd” and hit ENTER.
  3. Type “netstat -an” and hit ENTER.
  4. Type “usermod -aG Administrator” and hit ENTER.
  5. Type “exit” and hit ENTER again.

Close MMC after you’ve finished working with it. Delete the Administrator account’s Properties window using the Open MMC menu, and then the Account Is Disabled check box on the General page. Remove the Account Is Disabled check box from the General page of the Administrator account’s Properties window. When you’re done, close MMC.

The hidden account is deactivated once the operating system is installed. You don’t need to be aware of it, and you should never have to use it in a normal situation. However, you should avoid using only one Admin account with Windows 7 10 – which will usually be the first account you establish.
