If you are the owner of a Yahoo account and have lost your phone number, there are a few steps you can take to recover your account. First, check to see if you can find your phone number in the company’s records. If not, you can contact customer service and ask for help recovering your account. If you do have your phone number, it is important to remember to use it in order to access your account and other features of the company. Do not use your old number or any other numbers that may be associated with the Yahoo company. If all else fails and you still cannot access your account or retrieve your phone number, there are a few steps that you can take in order to help improve the chances of recovering your account. Go to the Yahoo account recovery webpage. Enter your Yahoo email address in the field labeled Email address or phone number, then choose Continue. Select a verification option (Text or Email). If you got a verification code by text or email message, input it here.
Go to yahoo.com and enter your email address. Click on “Forgotten password?” Click on “I need more choices.” Go to the Yahoo Help site.
Go to Google Account Recovery. Enter your email address. Select “Try another way to sign in.” Click “Try again.” Click “try again” one more time. Allow for 48 hours before checking back. You should receive an email containing the recovery link in it if everything worked out as planned.
Download all of the mails you picked up from the prior day and send or archive them manually or automatically. You’ll lose the emails permanently if you don’t do this. To retrieve lost or deleted e-mails, go to your Yahoo Mail Help Center. Select “Send a Restore Request” under “Recover lost or deleted emails.”
To edit a contact, go to its Settings page. Select any contacts you wish to manage by clicking the Contacts icon from Yahoo Mail. Click on the contact’s name. Click the More options symbol. Edit a contact. Make any desired changes to the contact’s information. To change the picture of a contact, click the Camera button. Save your changes when finished.
