If you’re a WeChat user and have messages that you want to permanently delete, there are a few steps you can take to do so. First, open WeChat and sign in. Then, go to the “Message” tab and click on the “Delete” button. Next, enter the following information into the “Delete message” field: your name, your phone number, and the date of your message. Click on the “Delete” button and confirm your deletion by clicking on the “Confirm deletion” button.
Open the conversation you wish to delete. Select the discussion from the Trash tab of your inbox. At the top of the conversation, click the Delete permanently button. A caution will appear to let you choose whether or not to completely erase the record.
Delete files by clicking the delete button under their corresponding folder. If you don’t see this option, please make sure to tap “Delete” on your device’s main menu or in system settings. Choose a specific date from the drop-down menu; Click “Yes.” It will ask for confirmation. Select Remove after selecting all content; Then choose Delete
To permanently erase Messenger communications, go to your chat’s settings and choose “Unsend.” The “Unsend” option will remove your message from both sides. Unsending a message on Messenger, in other words, permanently deletes it from both your and the receiver’s sides. There isn’t any other way to do it.
To open the reaction bar, hover your cursor over a message. After selecting “Delete” from the drop-down menu, click the ellipsis button. Your message will be removed. You can remove, hide, or mute messages in both your Teams groups and individual conversations.
Your account will be deactivated if you remove a contact from WeChat. They won’t be able to communicate with you or interact with you in any way. If they want to add you back to their contact list, they’ll have to send you a friend request.
