If you have Windows Live Mail installed on your computer, you can permanently delete emails by using the Delete Email button in the main toolbar. To delete emails from a specific mailbox, use the following steps:
- Open Windows Live Mail and click the Edit button in the main toolbar.
- In the email content area, select the email to be deleted and click the Delete button.
- The email is deleted and its data is removed from your computer.
Many email applications, such as Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook, merely store deleted emails in a trash folder after a specific length of time. You may remove the emails permanently from the trash folder if you don’t like waiting.
To manage Windows Live Mail with multiple email accounts, first log in to each one. Then, in the folder pane, expand all of your folders. Keep in mind that you must be signed in to Windows Live Mail using IMAP and merely delete any unnecessary files. Everything should return to normal now that you’ve deleted those extra files
Open Windows Live Mail. Fill in your details. select an email from your Inbox. Press Ctrl + A, then select the Delete option on your keyboard.
Select the check box at the top of your inbox. Select Delete above the message list… To properly remove e-mails, right-click the Deleted Items folder and choose to Delete all.
Open the email app by entering mail in the search box. Select a folder from which you want to delete many emails. In the search area, click on select selection mode. Click on individual emails until all of them are deleted.
