If you’re like most people, you probably use Outlook to store and manage your email. But if you want to permanently delete emails from Outlook, there are a few steps you need to take. First, open Outlook and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will show a list of your current messages. On the right side of this list, you’ll see a button called “Delete.” Click on this button and then select “All emails.” This will delete all of your email messages from Outlook. If you want to keep some of your email messages, you can choose to save them or archive them. To archive your email messages, select “Archive all emails.” This will archive all of your email messages in Outlook so that they are stored until they are needed again.

Select the Inbox folder, highlight all email messages in it that you want to permanently delete, then press the Shift Delete keys at the same time. Click Yes in a pop-up warning dialog box. After that, all selected email messages from the inbox folder are permanently erased.

Most email applications, such as Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook, simply move deleted correspondence to a trash folder where it is erased only after a specific amount of time. If you’re not into waiting, you can go into the trash folder and force an irreversible deletion to get rid of the emails permanently.

Check the “Check your Outlook folder subscribe” options to keep deleted folders from reappearing. This can happen when an IMAP server is used with an email client like Outlook. To display more mail folders, Outlook has a “subscribe” procedure in its folder additional mail folders.

To prevent wasting space on mail you don’t need, empty your Deleted Items folder on a regular basis. The folder can be removed manually, or the email program may be set to automatically clear it. Each time you close your mail program, the folder will be emptied using the automatic technique. Select the File option from the drop-down menu.

Deletion does not always result in the removal of a message in most email programs and web interfaces. Instead, the message is placed in a separate folder called trash or deleted items.
