If you’re like most parents, you probably have a Google account for your child. And if you’re like most parents, you probably also have a Google account for yourself. But what if you want to use your child’s Google account to access some of the features of their own Google account? You can do that by linking your child’s Google account to your own. To do this, just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your child’s Google account. If they’re using a different name or password than their own, they’ll need to create a new one. If they’re using the same name and password as their own, they’ll already be logged in and able to link their accounts.
  2. In the top right corner of their screen, click on “Link Accounts.” This will take you to a page where you can enter the information needed to link your accounts. You’ll need: Your child’s name (or pseudonym) Your child’s email address (or other contact information) Your child’s phone number (or other contact information) The date on which your children were born Your children’s birthdates
  3. Click on “Link Accounts.” This will take you back to the “Link Accounts” page from before, but this time there will be two fields instead of one: The “Account Type” field will be set to “Google,” and the “Email Address” field will be set to the email address that was entered for yourchild in step 2 above. The “Phone Number” field will be set to the phone number that was entered for yourchild in step 2 above. Finally, the “Date Of Birth” field will be set to the date that was entered for yourchildren in step 3 above. 4. Click on “Link Accounts.” This will take you back into their main screen and show them both sets of accounts linked together! They’ll now be able as both users on both accounts!

When your kid reaches the age of 13 (or the corresponding age in your nation), they may move to a regular Google Account. Parents will receive an email notifying them that their child will be eligible to take charge of their account on his or her birthday, so you won’t be able to manage it any longer.

Go to Family Link on the internet. Select your kid. Android apps are available. On/off is the method for turning it on or off.

Anyone aged 13 or above can create and administer their own Google accounts. This legislation, passed in 1998, prohibits companies from collecting personal information of anyone under the age of 13 without their parents’ permission.
