Facebook is a social networking site that allows users to communicate with each other. If your Facebook account is deleted, it means that you have stopped using the site. If you don’t know how to check if your Facebook account is deleted, here are some tips:
- Log in to your Facebook account and click on the “Profile” button at the top of the page.
- Scroll down and look for the “Deleted Accounts” section.
- If your Facebook account has been deleted, you will see a message saying so. Click on the “Delete Account” link to confirm your deletion and then click on the “Return To Profile” button to finish logging in.
After 30 days, your account and all of your personal information will be permanently erased, and you won’t be able to retrieve it. It may take anywhere from 90 to 180 days for everything you’ve posted to be erased.
What if I permanently delete my Facebook account? Everything you’ve added to your profile, such as photos, postings, films, and so on, will be permanently erased. You won’t be able to retrieve anything you’ve previously uploaded. You’ll lose the ability to use Facebook Messenger.
When you cancel your account, all of the user-generated content is generally removed, with a few exceptions, but all of the log data is preserved – permanently. “Your name will not be included in the log data.”
Your Facebook account is not deleted when you deactivate it, but your page will become inaccessible to other people. If you just want to take a break from Facebook without deleting your account altogether, this may be an option.
Click the upper right button of Facebook. Select Settings & Privacy from the drop-down menu. Click Your Facebook Information in the left column. Choose Deactivation and Deletion from the drop-down menu. Then, click Continue to Account Deletion.
