LinkedIn is a great place to work, but it can also be a great place to hide your email address. Here are some tips on how to do this:

  1. Create an alias for your email address. This will make it harder for people to find your real email address and connect with you on LinkedIn. For example, you could create an alias like “jeffrey@email.com” or “mark@email.com.”
  2. Hide your profile picture on LinkedIn. This will make it harder for people to find out who you are and connect with you on LinkedIn. You can hide your profile picture by clicking the “hide profile picture” button at the top of your screen or by selecting the “profile photo” tab in the left-hand column of your LinkedIn account page.
  3. Use a pseudonym on LinkedIn. This will make it harder for people to find out who you are and connect with you on LinkedIn under one name instead of many different ones. You can use a pseudonym by clicking the “use pseudonym” button at the top of your screen or by selecting the “pseudonym” tab in the left-hand column of your LinkedIn account page.
  4. Use a fake email address on LinkedIn. This will make it harder for people to find out who you are and connect with you onLinkedIn through their email addresses instead of their real ones (or through other accounts they may have). You can create a fake email address by clicking the “create fake email address” button at the top of your screen or by selecting the “fake email addresses” tab in the left-hand column of your LinkedIn account page.

In order to make your email address unreadable, use a primary account from one of the free services such as Outlook.com, Gmail, or Yahoo!. Your fake information when setting it up should go unanswered by these providers.

Contact information you entered in your profile is available to your 1st degree connections, individuals with whom you’ve sent connection invitations (and have not yet declined), and members who have interacted with you directly.

Hide your LinkedIn profile’s public visibility by clicking the Me icon -> View Profile. Toggle Your profile’s public visibility to Off
