If you’ve ever played Words With Friends on your computer or phone, then you know how fun it can be to rematch friends and see who can get the most points. But if you’ve lost your account or forgotten your password, there’s no need to worry - we’re here to help! To get your old Words With Friends account back, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log into your account on our website or app. If you’re using our website, enter in your username and password (if any). If you’re using our app, open the app and click on the “Accounts” tab.
  2. Click on the “Forgot Password” link under the “Your Account Details” section. This will take you to a page where you can enter in your username and password again. You’ll also need to provide a contact email address so that we can send you an email notification when your account is reactivated.
  3. Once everything is done, click on the “Activate Your Account” button under the “Your Account Details” section. Your account will be reactivated and all of your data will be backed up!

On your mobile device.Open the Words With Friends 2 app.Select the Settings option.From your Profile.Under Privacy.Select Personal Data Request.You should be able to see your Player ID and PIN now.

On the device.You established your account (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android, or Windows Phone).Open Words With Friends.Tap the “Menu” button.Select “Settings.”Set a new password for yourself.Save your changes by tapping “Save.”Open Words With Friends and log in using your new password.

If you go to the App Store.Look at the bottom of the page.Where it says “purchased.” if your program appears there.Reinstall it by tapping the cloud icon in the “not on this iPad” area.

If you don’t have a Facebook account, you may register for one by using the “Sign up with Email” button or selecting “Log in Now.”

If you’re one of the millions of people who have deleted their Words With Friends account in the past few months, fret not! There’s a way to get your old account back, and we’ve got the steps for you. First, head over to Facebook and sign into your old account. Once there, click on the “History” tab at the top of the page. This will take you to a page where you can see all of your past posts and activity on Facebook. Next, click on “Log In” next to the Words With Friends account name. This will take you to a new page where you can enter your username and password. Once you’ve logged in, click on “Your Account” in the top left corner of the screen. On this page, you’ll see a list of all of your past games played on Words With Friends. Click on any game that interests you and then click on “Delete Game.” You’ll be asked if you want to delete your profile too (you don’t have to if you don’t want to). Click on “Yes,” and then confirm by clicking on “Delete Profile.” Your old Words With Friends account is now gone forever! ..


On your smartphone, open the Words With Friends 2 app. From your Profile, select the Settings option. Tap on Privacy under Personal Data Request to continue. You’ll be able to view your Player ID and PIN now.

Set a new password. Save it by tapping “Save.” Open Words With Friends and log in with the new password you just set.

To ensure that your email address is listed when you next open Words with Friends on your mobile device, go to “Settings” and make sure it’s there. Then type in your password of choice (twice). … To finish, hit “Save And Close.” Now, remove the program. Reinstall it.

You can reinstall an app using the cloud icon if you go to the App Store and select the purchased tab at the bottom, then in the “not on this iPad” section, tap the cloud symbol to install it again – as long as you have access to your Apple ID.
