If you’re an iPhone user, you know that your phone keeps asking for the wrong Apple ID. It’s been happening to you for years, and it’s getting worse. The problem is that your phone is trying to use the old Apple ID that was used when you first bought your iPhone. But this Apple ID isn’t working anymore. It’s been expired or changed in some way, so it can’t be used to login to your account on the web or even to sign in to your app. There are a few ways to fix this problem:

  1. Reset your iPhone and get a new one. This will fix the issue with the old Apple ID and make sure that everything works properly again.
  2. Change your password. This will change all of your personal information on the phone, including your Apple ID. You’ll need to do this carefully, because if you don’t do it right, someone could get access to all of your data and use it for unauthorized purposes!
  3. Use another device instead of an iPhone for awhile. This will help keep track of all of the passwords and other personal information that you need on one place so that you can easily access it if something goes wrong with your iPhone later on.

Updates to apps/purchases made using the other ID might generate a new password request. Those transactions are linked to the previous ID and cannot be moved. If you’d like to use your current Apple ID, you may uninstall the apps/purchases created with the old ID and install them on your new one.
