If you’re a Snapchat user, it’s likely that you’ve deleted some of your account’s names. If you haven’t, it’s time to do so. Here are a few tips to help you find them:
- Type in the name of the account into the search bar on your Snapchat app and hit enter.
- If you don’t have the search bar, type in “deleted names” into the address bar and hit enter.
- You’ll see a list of all of your deleted accounts’ names, along with when they were deleted and how long they were active for.
You can ask for your account data using the Snapchat My Data function to get back deleted communications. Select Deleted Messages from the drop-down menu and then click Recover. How do you retrieve deleted Snapchat messages? Choose the option that you want to recover.
When you delete your Snapchat account, it does not immediately go away from the community. Your username may still be accessible, allowing you to reclaim your identity for a second time. At this moment, your friends and followers will have you on their lists but will be unable to contact you.
If you remove a few friends, they may still be on this list with a small plus sign next to their name. This means they’re still following you and blissfully ignorant of your serious blunder. Simply tapping the plus sign will re-add them to your list. Your ex-friend will once again become your friend.
Users can’t add you if they block you on Snapchat. If a Snapchatter is blocking you, there’s nothing you can do. Find out how to block Snapchat users. You won’t be able to add the account if it was deleted. Until you log out and log back into the app, the deleted account may appear on Snapchat?
Go to your Google account and sign in. Next, select the ‘recent backup’ folder. Look at your Snapchats and pick out any you wish to recover. Then use the ‘Restore’ option on Android to retrieve them.
