If you’re like most people, you probably use Dropbox to store your photos, docs, and other important files. But if you’re feeling strapped for space, or just want to downsize your account, here’s how to do it. First, head over to the Dropbox website and sign in. (If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one free of charge.) Next, click on the “Your Account” tab at the top of the page. Here, you’ll see a list of all your active Dropbox accounts. (If you have more than one account, they’ll be listed in order of oldest to newest.) To downgrade an account, simply click on the name of the account you want to downgrade and then click on “Downgrade Account.” (Note: If you have multiple accounts with different storage limits attached to them, only one of them can be upgraded at a time.) Once you’ve clicked on “Downgrade Account,” a new window will open where you’ll be asked to confirm your decision. Click on “Yes” and then follow the instructions that appear next. (Note: If this is your first time upgrading or downgrading an account, Dropbox will ask for some additional information before proceeding.) ..
