If you’re like most people, Facebook is a great place to keep up with friends and family. But if you’re a business or individual, you may want to consider disabling ads on your Facebook page in order to save money and improve your visibility. There are a few ways to disable ads on Facebook:
- Go to the “Settings” tab on your Facebook page and select “Ads.” Under “Ads,” select “No Ads.” This will disable all ads on your page.
- Type “ads_disable” into the address bar of your browser and hit enter. This will disable all ads on your current website, including those from Facebook.
- If you’re using an app like Fiverr, Craigslist, or eBay, be sure to add “ads_disable” as an option under the “App Settings” tab on those platforms. This will disable all ads on those websites as well.
In the upper-right corner of your screen, click Open Facebook. Select Settings from the drop-down menu. In the Settings & Privacy drop-down menu, select Settings. Go to Ads in the left column and choose Ad Preferences. To prevent advertisements based on these categories, deselect any of the profile fields listed.
Retargeting is the practice of displaying advertisements to people who have previously visited your website or app. It’s also known as “retargeted advertising.” Facebook allows advertisers to retarget people who have visited their website or app on Facebook, which may result in more adverts appearing in their news feed.
Open the Google settings app on your device (on Android, it’s called Google Settings or Settings; on iOS, com.google. Google Settings) Select Ads from the menu. Choose Advertising Personalization off and then Opt out of Interest-Based Ads.
To access your Facebook Ads Manager, go to the left sidebar and select “All Ads” from the drop-down menu (or use the Facebook Ads Manager mobile app, which we will discuss below), then click on “Ads Manager” at the bottom of the screen.
Tap on the “iCloud” tab in the top right corner of your iPhone or iPad. Select Settings from this menu and go to Privacy and then Apple Advertising (it will be at the bottom of the list). Turn off “Personalized Ads.”
