If you’re a World of Warcraft player, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the process of deleting your account. It’s a common way to stop playing the game and move on to something else. But what if you don’t have an account? What if you’re not sure how to delete your World of Warcraft account? Here are some tips to help you delete your World of Warcraft account:
- Log in to your Blizzard account and click on the “Accounts” tab.
- Scroll down and click on the “Deactivate Account” button.
- Type in your desired password and hit “submit.”
- Your World of Warcraft account will be deleted and all data will be lost!
If you would like to have your information removed from Battle.net, please contact them and request for it to happen. Proceeding with this erasure request will permanently remove all information from your account.
Characters under level 10 or Death Knights at level 55 cannot be undeleted. Level 9 – 11 characters are gone for good after 90 days, and level 12-14 characters disappear from the game after 120 days. Characters between levels 15 – 50 are only available for 60 days before they too start disappearing from the game.
To uninstall the Battle.net desktop app, do the following:Click on Uninstall a program in Control Panel.Right-click on Battle.net and select Uninstall.If the client is not listed, manually uninstall the Battle.net desktop app by visiting their website or downloading setup from their site to your computer and running it as an administrator (some users may need to reboot after finished).
