If you’re like most Twitch users, you probably don’t use the app all that often. But if you ever do need to delete it, here’s how:
- Open the App Store on your device and search for “Twitch.” Tap the first result that comes up.
- Tap “Install” and then tap “Remove.”
- If you have any pending updates, they’ll be installed before the app is removed. Once the installation is complete, tap “Open” to finish deleting the app. ..
Go to twitch. tv and sign in to your account, if necessary. Click this link or type it into your address bar to go to “https://www.twitch.tv/user/delete-account.” Enter the purpose of your account cancellation, then choose “Delete account.
To do this, go to Twitch Settings. Log in to Twitch and go to your profile in the top right corner. Then head over to the “settings” page. Click “Disable Account” at the bottom of the screen. confirm that your Twitch account will be deleted.
Log back into Twitch within 90 days and reactivate your account, and you’re good to go. If you don’t log in and reactivate your account within 90 days, it will be permanently deleted with all of your information after the ‘safety’ waiting period expires.
It’s possible to change your Twitch username: If you’re simply disabling your account in order to establish a new one with a better name, keep in mind that you don’t have to do this. Simply go to settings, click on the edit option next to the username field, and then enter the desired changes.
When will inactive usernames become available? On a regular basis, inactive usernames will be recycled and offered to new users in batches. If you depart or rename your account, your old username will be reused.
