If you’re a Twitch user and have an iPhone, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the app’s “Delete Account” feature. This handy little function lets you easily remove your account from the app, without having to go through the hassle of deleting your entire Twitch account. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone and select “Accounts.”
  2. In the Accounts section, select “Twitch.”
  3. Scroll down to the bottom and select “Delete Account.”
  4. Tap on “Delete Account” and confirm by pressing OK.

If you don’t already have one, go to twitch.tv and create an account if necessary.

If you change your mind about account deletion, they provide a safety mechanism. After 90 days, Twitch will retain the account and permanently delete it.

It’s also possible to deactivate your account and leave all of your personal information on the site, allowing you to use it again in the future. It’s also possible to get rid of your data from the platform and wipe your account completely, although this option isn’t as obvious.
