If you have a TransUnion account, it’s important to delete it if you want to stop receiving payments from the company. Deleting your account will also remove any personal information that you may have stored on the account. To delete your TransUnion account:
- Log in to your account online or by using a mobile app.
- Click on the “Delete my account” link under the “Accounts” tab.

So, the short answer is that you need to contact TransUnion directly via telephone or by email and cancel your account with them. Your transaction history can be accessed online, but I do recommend printing off your statement for yourself when it comes in so that you have a physical document of everything that has transpired. You can access your account and any of your statements online at www.transunion.com . Once you login to your account, simply click on “Transactions” under “My Account”. From here you can view all of your TransUnion statements and then click on “Print a TransUnion Statement” to print off any statement you like. TransUnion also has a TransUnion CreditVision service that you can subscribe to. Once TransUnion receives your cancellation request, TransUnion will issue you with instructions on how to cancel TransUnion CreditVision . TransUnion is not operated by the same corporate entity as Transunion. Transunion no longer provides the online monitoring or TransUnion scores services (these are now provided by Transunion) and has since rebranded its existing membership services under this new name.

Your Credit Report is not the Industry StandardAlthough VantageScore’s system provides accurate information, it is not the industry standard. Credit Karma works well for most consumers. Companies that approve or deny your application will look at your FICO score more often than they would use your report from Credit Karma.

Checking your own TransUnion report will not harm your credit score as it’s a soft inquiry. This has no effect on scores whatsoever. The VantageScore 3.0 utilizes a scoring model developed by all three major credit reporting agencies – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion®.
The monthly fee is the one main disadvantage of using TransUnion credit checks. Out of all three companies, you will be charged $24.95 per month which is higher than with Equifax and Experian where it’s priced at $14.95 a month
