If you’re a Slack user on a mobile device, there are a few ways to delete your account.

  1. Type “delete Slack” into the app’s search bar and hit enter.
  2. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen and select “Delete account.”
  3. Type your name and password into the fields below and hit enter. Your account will be deleted immediately.

Go to slack.com/account/settings and scroll down. Tap Deactivate your account and then Yes, deactivate my account. Select Yes, deactivate my account from the drop-down menu.

What Are the Consequences of Deactivating a Slack Account? They will be logged out of Slack and unable to sign back in. All channels will be closed to them, leaving them with no access to secret channels. Their applications and connections would be disabled.

If you’re not automatically logged in, type the name of the workspace you wish to depart and connect with your email and password. If Slack opens to the wrong workspace, tap the squares icon on the top-right corner of the screen, then sign in to the desired workspace.

Users with an active account can’t be deleted. They must first give someone else primary control of their workspace. Apps you’ve installed might be disabled. A Workspace Owner will have access to manage and re-enable them.

Scroll down and pick the Slack app from the drop-down menu. When asked to uninstall the program, click Uninstall and OK.
