If you’re a business owner or individual who uses Quickbooks to manage your finances, then you may be wondering how to delete your account. Here’s a guide on how to do it:

  1. Log into Quickbooks and click on the “Accounts” tab.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Deactivate” button.
  3. Type in your desired deletion code and hit the “Delete” button.
  4. Your Quickbooks account will be deleted and all of your data will be lost!

Accounts may not be deleted. To have an Intuit account deleted, contact Intuit customer support at 1 (800) 446-8848. TurboTax: TurboTax accounts can’t be terminated. For TurboTax Online users – sign in to your account, then click Contact and type your query for assistance from a live specialist.

All of your account information, offers, and any shared services or apps you use with your account will be erased. You’ll also be unable to access Intuit using that user ID and password any longer.

Because accounts may contain tax information that must be kept, there is no method to delete, close, or combine one. You simply have to put it on hold.
