If you’re like most people, you probably have a PlayStation 4 account. But if you want to delete it, there are a few things you need to know. First, make sure that your PlayStation 4 is turned on and connected to the internet. Then go to your account settings and click on the “delete my account” button. Once you’ve deleted your PlayStation 4 account, be sure to log out of your PlayStation 4 and then back in. If everything goes according to plan, your account will be gone and no one will be able to access it anymore.


Select contact us near the top of the page. On the next page, scroll down and choose Account & Security. Select Change Online ID & Other Account Concerns from the drop-down menu. At the bottom of the screen, select Live Chat.

Any content you buy with the account will be inaccessible. This material cannot be moved to another account and refunds can only be given according to the PlayStation Store’s cancellation policy. You will no longer have access to any subscriptions or their benefits.

Accounts on the PlayStation Network are quite simple to remove. Users must remember, however, that merely because your account has been deleted does not imply that you have been able to delete the network itself. Occasionally, only the page gets removed.

You may terminate your Sony Entertainment Network account as of July 2016 if it has been inactive for at least six months. If you have an inactive PlayStation Network account, Sony has updated the Terms of Service (ToS) to include the following provision: You can close your Account by calling us using the information below. We will be able to cancel your Account.

Select Subscription from the menu on the left of the screen and then Turn Off Auto-Renew next to the subscription you’d want to cancel.
