If you’re a Gmail user, there’s a good chance you’ve seen your profile picture pop up on the main screen when you first sign in. It’s a little image of you that’s usually displayed at the top left corner of your screen. If you don’t want your profile picture to show up on the main screen, there are a few ways to delete it. Here are three methods:
- Type “delete profile picture” into the address bar and hit enter.
- Tap on the three lines in the bottom right corner of your screen and select “Delete Profile Picture.”
- Type “profile picture” into the address bar and hit enter.
To remove your profile picture from Gmail on your phone, first, open the app and click on the settings icon. From there, go to “Accounts and Import.” You’ll be able to see the option to remove your account.
To delete your Gmail profile picture, click on the gear icon and select Settings. Next, go to the General tab and scroll down to where it says “Profile Picture”. Click on the thumbnail of your current profile picture and then click on Delete. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to delete your profile picture. Click Yes and you’re done!

Google Images has a setting that allows you to control what appears in Google Images. You can go to the settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen. From there, you can choose which images are shown and how they are sorted.
You can delete your profile picture by going to Settings > Privacy and Safety > Profile Picture > Remove.
The removal of the cover photo does not delete it. Instead, the cover photo is hidden from view. This is done by removing it physically or via a digital edit. I’m not sure what you mean by “can’t,” but if it’s that you can’t delete photos from Google Photos, then this is a feature. You can select all the photos that you want to delete and then click on the trash icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
To delete photos from Google Photos on Android, you can open the app and head to the Albums tab. Select the album with the photos you want to delete, then tap on it. There should be a “Delete” button at the top of your screen.
